Dr Bo Wang is an Assistant Research Professor in Biological and Environmental Engineering at Cornell University. His research integrates protein engineering, synthetic biology, biomaterials, and immunology to develop solutions for healthcare challenges including cancer therapy, diabetes treatment, and vaccine delivery.
His work focuses on designing biomaterial systems for cellular therapies and immunomodulation, developing novel antibody therapeutics, and creating advanced drug delivery platforms. Recent innovations include hydrogel technologies for gastric perforation repair, SARS-CoV-2 vaccine delivery systems, and engineered immunomodulatory cells for transplantation without immunosuppression.
