Biörn Tjällén is a Senior Lecturer in History at Mid Sweden University, specializing in medieval European politics, theology, and philosophy. With a PhD from Stockholm University (2007), his academic career includes postdoctoral research in Copenhagen and Bergen, funded by the Swedish Research Council and the Riksbanken Jubileumsfond.
