Mats Hallenberg is a Professor at the Department of History, Stockholm University, specializing in political history across early modern to modern periods. He leads research projects on Shifting Regimes (Swedish Research Council funded) and Alternative Paths to the Welfare City (Riksbanken Jubileumsfond supported).
