Assistant Professor Biserka Kolarec is affiliated with the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb, where she works in the Department of Information Science and Mathematics within the Division for Agroeconomy and Informatics. Active since 1998, she has held positions from assistant to higher assistant before attaining her current rank.

Research Interests:
Her work centers on Functional Analysis and Operator Algebras, with a focus on Hilbert C*-modules, C*-algebras, and normed spaces. She also contributes to applied mathematics through statistical methods, linear programming, and quantitative techniques in agriculture and environmental sciences.
Projects:
She has coordinated research projects on agricultural optimization and family farm competitiveness, supported by the University of Zagreb and MZOS (Croatian Ministry of Science and Education). Topics include applied mathematical methods and production optimization in family farms.
Teaching:
Courses include Linear Programming and Game Theory, Business Mathematics, Applied Mathematical Methods, Economic Analysis, and Quantitative Methods for Agriculture.
Professional Memberships:
Active in the Croatian Biometrical Society, Croatian Mathematical Society, and the Seminar for Functional Analysis at the University of Zagreb since 1995.
