Birgit Pauksztat is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Studies at Uppsala University and a member of the Greenwich Maritime Centre Committee. Her research focuses on organizational behavior in maritime contexts, examining interpersonal relations, social networks, and problem-solving strategies in work environments.
Her work investigates social aspects of maritime labor, crew dynamics, leadership challenges, and organizational responses to operational problems. As part of the Leadership and Organisational Behaviour Research Group, she explores how organizational structures impact workplace relationships and performance in high-risk industries.
