Bingqing (B.Q.) Wei is a Full Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Delaware. His expertise spans nanotechnology, clean energy, and advanced materials. He holds a PhD from Tsinghua University and has held academic and research positions at Louisiana State University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and the Max-Planck Institut für Metallforschung. Dr. Wei’s research focuses on nanomaterials synthesis, carbon nanotube composites, and energy storage technologies. He has authored over 365 peer-reviewed papers, with an h-index of 96 (Web of Science), and is a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher. He serves as an inaugural Field-Chief-Editor of Frontiers in Nanotechnology and holds a Royal Society of Chemistry Fellowship.
