Bin Mei

Bin Mei is a Professor at Duke University, overseeing the Natural Resources Finance Initiative launched in 2019. He focuses on forestland investment, nature-based climate solutions, and decision-making under uncertainty. Previously, he was the Hargreaves Professor of Forest Finance at the University of Georgia. His research is supported by NASA, USDA NIFA, US Forest Service, and the FAO of the UN. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia (2010).
