Billy Dunaway is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL), where he has been affiliated since 2015. He completed his PhD at the University of Michigan in 2013 and held a postdoctoral position at the University of Oxford from 2013 to 2015.
- Research Focus: His work spans metaethics, epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of language, and philosophy of religion.
- Projects: From 2018 to 2021, he served as co-Principal Investigator for the Theology, Science, and Knowledge project with Jon McGinnis.
- Publications: He authored Reality and Morality (Oxford University Press, 2020) and co-edited the open-access volume Mmeaning, Decision, and Norms: Themes from the Work of Allan Gibbard.
