Dr Billy Andrews is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Plymouth, affiliated with the School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences under the Faculty of Science and Engineering. He joined the institution in March 2021 to work on the Quake4D project led by Zoë Mildon, focusing on physics-based, geologically-rich models for earthquake interaction and seismic hazard analysis.
His research expertise includes:
- Fault zone heterogeneity
- Fault and fracture network characterization
- Subsurface uncertainty quantification
Billy's work contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to disaster risk reduction and environmental sustainability.
