Bill Peng is a Professor in the Department of Accounting at the University of Exeter Business School. He joined the university in 2006 and currently serves as the Associate Dean for Global Engagement and MSc Programmes, leading international partnerships and managing postgraduate-taught programmes. Previously, he held roles as Head of Department of Accounting (2015-2019), Director of Education in Accounting (2012-2014), and Programme Director for MSc Accounting and Finance (2008-2011).

- Professional Certification: Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA)
His research focuses on market-based accounting and equity valuation, particularly accounting-based equity valuation models and the role of accounting numbers in firm valuation. He has taught modules in Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and MSc dissertation courses. Bill also spearheads the Business School’s undergraduate 2+2 articulation and postgraduate 4+1 progression programmes with overseas partners.
