Ken Lee is a Professor in Accounting and the Director of Postgraduate Taught Programmes at Loughborough Business School, Loughborough University. Previously, he served as an Associate Professorial Lecturer at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He is a member of the Capital Markets Advisory Committee (CMAC), an IFRS Foundation-supported body, and holds professional qualifications including FCA, CFA, and FHEA. Before academia, he was a Managing Director at Barclays Capital and Citi Investment Research, specializing in European Equity Research and valuation analysis, earning top rankings in the Institutional Investor Survey.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Science from Trinity College Dublin/Dublin Institute of Technology
- Doctorate in Accounting (Aston Business School), focusing on analysts’ stock recommendation decisions
Research Interests: Sell-side analysts, financial valuation methodologies, structuration theory applications in finance, and the intersection of accounting practices with capital markets.
