Bill Langan serves as an Associate Professor of Acting in the Theatre department at Oklahoma City University, bringing extensive professional experience from a decades-long career spanning theatre, film, and television.
His professional highlights include an eight-year tenure with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival performing in major productions such as Titus Andronicus, Julius Caesar, Midsummer Night's Dream, and Richard II, along with three years in the permanent acting company at the Guthrie Theatre. His stage work extends to prestigious venues including The Public Theatre, Yale Repertory Theatre, and The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington D.C.
On screen, Langan has appeared in films including Reagan (2021) and A Thousand Little Cuts (2019), and television series such as Criminal Minds, CSI: CYBER, and Law & Order.
Academically trained at the Yale School of Drama, he specializes in actor training with emphases on classical text interpretation, vocal technique, and dialect mastery. His pedagogy directly integrates professional practice with academic instruction across performance disciplines.
