Bilkis Vissandjée is a Full Professor at the University of Montreal School of Nursing, a researcher at the Université de Montréal Public Health Research Institute (IRSPUM), and co-founder of the Migration, Ethnicity, Social Services and Health (MÉTISS) research team. She also contributes to the Tuberculosis Montreal Interdisciplinary Research Team.

Recent publications show strong engagement with interdisciplinary approaches to migrant health, gender-sensitive interventions, and equity-oriented healthcare systems.
