Bibi Jonsson is a Professor of Comparative Literature at the Centre for Languages and Literature, Lund University. She conducts research, teaches, and supervises at all academic levels, with a focus on gender studies, feminist and queer theories, and the intersection of literature and ideology.
- Research: Gender and Nazi literature (e.g., Brown Pens, 2012; Dikt i brunt, 2023), children's literature, and literary didactics
- Teaching: Courses include LIVA27 (European Classics), LIVB30 (Literary Practices), and Swedish language courses
Her recent publications analyze anti-capitalism in Nazi poetry (2024), workers' literature (2024), and women's roles in literary criticism. She is part of the FOLIO research group and a Nordic network studying workers' literature.
