معرفی
Bhujyo Bhattacharya is an Adjunct Professor of Physics at Wayne State University and an Associate Professor of Physics at Lawrence Technological University. His work bridges theoretical particle physics with experimental collaborations and physics education.
- Education: Ph.D. (2011) and S.M. (2007) in Physics from the University of Chicago; M.Sc. (2006) in Physics with first prize from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur; B.Sc. (2004) in Physics Honours from Presidency College, Kolkata.
Research Interests: He specializes in particle phenomenology, focusing on discovering new physics beyond the Standard Model through collider experiments like LHCb and Belle II. His work includes analyzing experimental data for CP violation, flavor phenomenology, and effective field theories to address unresolved questions about fermion masses, matter-antimatter asymmetry, and high-energy physics.
Scientific Awards:
- Chandrasekhar Fellow (2006–2008)
- Theory Fellowship at the Institute of Particle Physics (2013–2015)
- Principal Investigator on an NSF RUI grant for CP violation studies in flavor phenomenology
Teaching and Mentorship: He employs interactive, hands-on approaches to physics education and supports students with learning challenges, emphasizing diversity in the physics community.
