Collaborative works frequently examine auteurs like Godard and contemporary filmmakers through theoretical frameworks from Foucault to psychoanalysis.

Administrative roles include Director of English Studies (Paris, 2015-2018) and Director of Film Studies (Edinburgh, 2000-2012).
