Dr Bethan Marshall is a Senior Lecturer in English Education at King's College London (KCL), based in the School of Education, Communication & Society within the Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy. Her research focuses on English curriculum philosophies, teacher identity development, assessment methodologies, and the intersection of film/television with literacy education. She leads projects like the 'Sustaining teacher quality and retention post-pandemic' study examining pandemic impacts on teacher training and development.
