Bernhard Zimmermann

Bernhard Zimmermann is a Professor of Classical Philology at the University of Freiburg since 1997. He currently serves as Dean of Studies at the University College Freiburg since April 2011 and was previously Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Letters (2010–2011). His academic career includes past positions as Professor at the University of Düsseldorf (1992–1997) and multiple Visiting Professorships at institutions such as the University of Zürich (2012), Basel (2009), Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa (2005–2006), and the University of Bern (2001–2003).
