Dr. Bernd Beckert is Deputy Head of the Department of Emerging Technologies and Coordinator of Artificial Intelligence at Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI). He holds a doctoral degree from Technical University Munich. His work focuses on the application and societal impacts of Artificial Intelligence, policy analysis for technology adoption, and innovation systems. He has coordinated major projects including AI in healthcare rehabilitation, broadband strategies in Europe, and future studies on gigabit networks. Beckert's research spans media economics, digital transformation, and interdisciplinary approaches to technology foresight.
