Dr Bernard Vincent North serves as a Senior Statistician at the CRUK Cancer Prevention Trials Unit (CPTU) within the Wolfson Institute of Population Health at Queen Mary University of London. He holds a PhD and oversees statistical work on multiple cancer prevention and early detection trials, managing three statisticians and contributing to trial committees. His research focuses on statistical methodologies in oncology, clinical prediction models, and biomarker utilization.
Dr North earned his BSc, MSc (Eng), and PhD qualifications. He has acted as a second supervisor for a PhD candidate at King's College London (KCL). His expertise spans trial design, statistical validation, and collaborative research projects in clinical and epidemiological domains.
