Bernadette Reinhold is a Senior Scientist at the Institute of Art Collections and Archives, University of Applied Arts Vienna, and since 2008 has directed the Oskar Kokoschka Center. Her career spans academic research, curatorial practice, and editorial work, with a focus on Viennese Modernism, 20th-century architecture, and Austrian cultural policy. She co-founded the Research Network Austrian Architecture in 2011.

Her research interests bridge architecture (19th–21st centuries), modern art, and intersections of cultural policy and gender studies. She has curated exhibitions at the Leopold Museum, Belvedere, and Museum der Moderne Carinthia. Recent projects examine Kokoschka's political biography, Schütte-Lihotzky's interdisciplinary work, and photographic archives.
Scientific awards include the APART Stipendium (2011–2012) and eikones NFS Bildkritik fellowship (2010). Her collaborative publications with institutions like De Gruyter and Birkhäuser highlight her editorial leadership. Current roles involve board membership at the Oskar Kokoschka Documentation Pöchlarn and organizing international conferences on modernist art and architecture.
