Berkan Özkan

Res. Asst. Berkan Özkan is affiliated with the Department of Geophysical Engineering at the Faculty of Mines, Istanbul Technical University (ITU). His research focuses on seismology, earth physics, and earthquake mechanics with emphasis on seismic hazard assessment, earthquake rupture dynamics, and tectonic processes. He holds a PhD in Geophysical Engineering from ITU (2022) and has been a Research Assistant since 2020.
