His academic work spans compositional studies of Genesis, redaction criticism of the Pentateuch, and analysis of Qumran manuscripts. Key contributions include critiques of textual reconstruction methodologies and investigations into numerical symbolism in biblical texts. Recent publications address scribal practices, canonical formation, and textual criticism of Deuteronomy and the Samaritan Pentateuch.
