Benjamin Ledoux is a researcher affiliated with the Technological Platform Morphology - Imaging at the Namur Research Institute for Life Sciences (UNamur). His work focuses on cellular mechanisms involving membrane dynamics, actin polymerization, and protein interactions, particularly in cancer and renal biology. He actively collaborates with institutions like UCLouvain and contributes to interdisciplinary research in molecular and cell biology.
His research interests include:
- Clathrin-independent endocytosis and retrograde transport
- AMPK signaling in lipotoxicity and lysosomal dysfunction
- ATF6α regulation of skin homeostasis
- Membrane nanodeformations and CIP4/CDC42 signaling
- F-BAR proteins in cytoskeletal organization
Recent publication trends highlight his expertise in cancer immunology (CD8 T cell activation), renal epithelial cell protection (AMPK role), and skin senescence mechanisms. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being. He is also a co-manager of the Light Microscopy facility at UNamur.
