Benjamin Kroeger

Benjamin Kroeger is a Research Fellow in the Department of Anatomy & Developmental Biology at Monash University, affiliated with the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute. He also holds a Researcher position at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre since July 2019. His work focuses on understanding the mechanisms controlling cell growth and tissue organization, particularly through the Hippo signalling pathway's role in organ size regulation and its implications in carcinomas. He employs advanced microscopy techniques (e.g., 3D-SIM, cryo-electron microscopy) to study genetic and molecular mechanisms in both human cancer cells and Drosophila melanogaster.
