Benjamin Frith is a Professor of Piano at the Royal Northern College of Music. He earned a BA and ARCM (Associate of the Royal College of Music) and has built an international career as a pianist.
- Won Dudley National Piano Competition at age 14
- Shared top prize in the 1986 Busoni International Piano Competition
- First prize in the 1989 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Masters Competition
- Debut at the Edinburgh Festival in 1992 with Beethoven’s Diabelli Variations
- Member of the Gould Piano Trio since 1998
