Benjamin D. Rosenberg

Benjamin D. Rosenberg is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Dominican University's School of Liberal Arts and Education. He earned his BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado – Boulder and his MA and PhD in Applied Social Psychology from Claremont Graduate University.

As a social-health psychologist, Rosenberg focuses on health behavior, research methods, and survey design. His research integrates social psychological theories of motivation and persuasion to address health and well-being, particularly examining effective persuasive health messages during uncertainty (e.g., post-diagnosis) and irrational motivations behind risky health behaviors like drug use. He has published in journals such as Motivation Science and Computers in Human Behavior.
