Benjamin Chrisinger is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Health at Tufts University, with a dual appointment in Urban & Environmental Policy & Planning. His research focuses on the intersection of urban planning and public health, particularly food security, welfare policies, and the effects of place on health equity. Previously, he served as an Associate Professor of Evidence-Based Policy Evaluation at the University of Oxford’s Department of Social Policy and Intervention and held a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University’s School of Medicine.
Education: PhD in City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania (with a certificate in College & University Teaching), Master of City Planning from the University of Virginia, and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.
