Benjamin Blum is a Research Fellow at the Heidelberg University of Jewish Studies within the Department of Bible and Jewish Biblical Interpretation, where he contributes to the DFG long-term project "Corpus Masoreticum" since February 2023. His academic journey includes a Research Assistant role at the Kirchliche Hochschule Wuppertal/Bethel (Nov 2018–Feb 2023) and teaching Hebrew at Wilhelm-Dörpfeld-Gymnasium Wuppertal (Sep 2017–Jul 2019).

He has lectured on Biblical Hebrew and provided instruction in Aramaic, particularly in Daniel 2-7, alongside his broader engagement with theological and linguistic aspects of the Hebrew Bible.
