Benjamin Blandford

Benjamin Blandford is a senior research scientist at the University of Kentucky's Kentucky Transportation Center since 2006. He holds a PhD in Geography (2015) from the same institution. His research focuses on transportation systems, environmental planning, GIS-based modeling, and geovisualization. Key areas include optimizing snow/ice treatment routes, multimodal energy transportation networks, ecological habitat modeling for endangered species, and vulnerability assessments of infrastructure to natural hazards.
