Benjamin Binder is an Associate Professor of Music at Duquesne University’s Mary Pappert School of Music, where he teaches musicology and music history. He previously taught at Lawrence University (2006–2008) and co-founded the Vancouver International Song Institute’s Song Scholarship and Performance program. His scholarly and performance work bridges musicology, criticism, and classical performance, with a focus on 19th-century Austro-German chamber music and art song.
