Sezi Seskir

Sezi Seskir is an Associate Professor of Music at Bucknell University specializing in historical performance practice on period instruments. She maintains active performance and scholarly engagement across Europe, North America, and Turkey while contributing to major editorial projects for prominent music publishers.

Her scholarly work focuses on Schumann and Beethoven, informed by hands-on experience with period instruments. This manifests in critical editions for Bärenreiter's Schumann Complete Edition, presentations at the American Musicological Society, and acclaimed recordings on original instruments.
