Benjamin Bergholtz is a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology's Writing and Communication Program within the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts. He specializes in teaching multimodal composition courses focusing on global Anglophone literature, postcolonialism, and 20th/21st century British literature. His research explores globalization's impact on literary forms, particularly through his award-winning book project "Swallowing the World": Globalization and the Maximalist Novel, which received the Distinguished Dissertation Award at Louisiana State University (PhD, 2018).
Dr. Bergholtz actively collaborates with colleagues and students on projects such as the World Englishes Committee at Georgia Tech, investigating linguistic diversity and global sociolinguistic dynamics. His work appears in journals like Contemporary Literature and Film International, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to literature and pedagogy.
