Dr. Benedikt Reier is a Principal Investigator at the University of Hamburg's Faculty of Humanities, affiliated with the Asia-Africa Institute and the Department of History and Culture of the Near East. His work focuses on manuscript cultures and social history in the Middle East and Islamic world.
