Benedetto Molinari is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economic Theory within the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences at the University of Granada. His research focuses on dynamic macroeconomics, technical change, automation, and fiscal policy. He holds a PhD in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and teaches courses in advanced and undergraduate macroeconomics in English.
His research explores topics such as wage distribution effects of automation, fiscal sustainability, and the integration of national accounting frameworks into macroeconomic models. He is affiliated with the Outstanding Group in Economic Theory and the THE-Motiva Grant research initiatives.
Publications highlight his work on DSGE modeling, technological change impacts, and inflation dynamics. He co-leads the Experimental Lab (Smart Decision Lab) and contributes to interdisciplinary research on space economics and policy.
Teaching responsibilities include Advanced Macroeconomics, Undergraduate Macroeconomics, and Graduate Macroeconomics courses, emphasizing both theoretical frameworks and practical applications through tools like Sankey diagrams for economic visualization.
