Ben Van Dyke

Ben Van Dyke is an Associate Professor of Graphic Design at Michigan State University's Department of Art, Art History, and Design within the College of Arts and Letters. He holds an MFA from the Stamps School at the University of Michigan and a BFA from Kendall College of Art & Design. His career bridges academic and creative realms, having exhibited work globally across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

Van Dyke's research and creative practice explore contrasts in visual culture and design history, with a focus on how graphic design intersects with cultural narratives. His work has been supported by a Fulbright Fellowship in The Netherlands and prior tenure at the University at Buffalo. He actively contributes to Michigan's legacy in design innovation and education.
