Ben Purvis

Dr Ben Purvis (he/they) is a Researcher at the University of Sheffield's Faculty of Science, affiliated with the Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures. With a background in physics and a PhD in interdisciplinary urban complexity from the University of Nottingham (2020), Ben specializes in critical social science approaches to sustainability assessment, integrating quantitative methods with discourses on data, policy, and environmental justice.
