Ben Parkes is a Lecturer in Climate Resilience specializing in climate impacts, particularly in the developing world. His work focuses on assessing climate change effects on human livelihoods through crop models (e.g., GLAM, ORCHIDEE-Crop, APSIM) and heat stress analysis. He leads the 'Climate Resilient Livelihoods' project, exploring bioenergy from crop residues and policy-driven climate adaptation. His expertise includes technical computing (MATLAB), bias correction in climate data, and interdisciplinary collaboration on UN Sustainable Development Goals.
