Ben Neumann is a Strings Faculty member at the Mount Royal University Conservatory, specializing in violin, viola, and chamber music instruction. He previously served as Coordinator of the Mount Royal Junior Orchestra Program and conducted orchestras including Preparatory Strings and Chamber Strings. With a B.Mus. from the University of British Columbia, Neumann's career includes performances with the Vancouver Opera Orchestra, Vancouver CBC Orchestra, and Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, alongside work in television and recording studios.
His expertise spans string instrument pedagogy, orchestral performance, and chamber music. Neumann remains an active performer, adjudicator, and educator throughout Alberta, focusing on nurturing young musicians through structured ensemble training and private instruction.
