Ben Kuo is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Windsor, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. He specializes in multicultural counseling, refugee mental health, and acculturation processes. His work emphasizes culturally responsive clinical practices and community-based research, particularly with marginalized populations such as refugees and Black Canadians. He leads initiatives like the refugee-serving multicultural therapy practicum, fostering trainee competence through service.
