Ben Haugland is an Associate Professor of Jazz Studies at the Texas Tech University School of Music, where he has held a faculty position since completing his Doctor of Arts degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Northern Colorado in 2012. His academic contributions include publishing The Mulgrew Miller Collection (2018), a best-selling jazz pedagogy resource through Jamey Aebersold Jazz.
