Ben Bramble is a Lecturer in Philosophy at the Fenner School of Environment & Society, Australian National University. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Sydney (2014) and has held academic positions internationally, including Assistant Professor at Trinity College Dublin (2016), Senior Lecturer at the University of Liverpool (2018), and Laurance S. Rockefeller Visiting Faculty Fellow at Princeton University (2019).
His research focuses on ethical philosophy, with emphasis on:
- Temporal dimensions of well-being and lived experience
- Non-identity problems in moral philosophy
- Applied ethics including pandemic response and animal predation
- Hedonism and experiential philosophy
His publications demonstrate consistent exploration of ethical frameworks across contexts—from pandemic dilemmas to abstract temporal metaphysics. Recent works show heightened focus on real-world applications like COVID-19 ethics and environmental morality.
