Elizabeth Harman is the Laurance S. Rockefeller Professor of Philosophy and the University Center for Human Values at Princeton University, and Director of Early-Career Research. She specializes in ethics, with notable works on abortion ethics, moral potentiality, and future personhood. Her research explores topics such as the moral status of early fetuses, harm causation, and the ethical implications of future desires. She is currently on leave for the 2024-25 academic year.
