Dr Ben Bowers is an Assistant Professor in Primary Care at the University of Cambridge and an Honorary Nurse Consultant in Palliative Care. He serves as Deputy Theme Lead for the Palliative and End of Life Care theme at NIHR Applied Research Collaboration East of England. A Queen’s Nurse since 2009, Ben co-founded and leads the UK-wide Community Nursing Research Forum, fostering nursing research collaboration.
Ben’s research focuses on advancing person-centered care through community nursing, particularly in palliative and end-of-life care. He leads interdisciplinary research programs aimed at improving care for patients dying at home and contributes to clinical education innovations via the GP Education Group.
