Belinda Lewis

Belinda Lewis is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Monash University, within the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. She holds an adjunct academic position and contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals through her research. Her work focuses on refugee health, cultural studies, public health policy, and social cohesion. She has been actively involved in interdisciplinary research projects, including a 2005 literature review on clinical placements and a 2015 grant-funded project on primary health care education.

Research interests span refugee integration, gender dynamics in healthcare, and the intersection of cultural practices with modern policies. Notable contributions include studies on Afghan refugees' intimate relationships and family planning challenges, as well as analyses of far-right politics in Australia's digital mediasphere.
