Dr. Belinda Kate Ford is a Research Fellow at The George Institute for Global Health and a conjoint lecturer at UNSW Medicine & Health. Her work focuses on improving health systems, particularly in areas like integrated care models, telehealth, and Aboriginal health. She holds a PhD in Health Systems Research from UNSW and has expertise in evaluating health service innovations both domestically and internationally.
Education: PhD (Health Systems Research, 2021), Masters of Public Health, Masters of Health Management, and Bachelor of Science (Population Health and Psychology).
Research interests include patient experiences in healthcare, chronic eye disease management, and the implementation of programs targeting Indigenous communities. She also investigates telehealth and hospital-GP partnerships to enhance care access and outcomes.
Dr. Ford supervises students at all levels through UNSW and The George Institute, focusing on health systems, telehealth, and economic evaluation. She collaborates with diverse stakeholders to design scalable solutions for healthcare challenges.
