Rebecca Guy

Professor Rebecca Guy is a leading academic and Scientia Professor at UNSW Sydney’s Kirby Institute, specializing in public health and infectious disease research. As Head of the Surveillance Evaluation and Research Program (SERP), she oversees a team of 70 staff focused on reducing health disparities through innovative programs like the First Nations Molecular Point-of-Care Testing Program. Her work emphasizes multi-disciplinary collaboration, particularly in remote Indigenous communities, where her team has conducted over 100,000 tests for infectious diseases since 2013.
