Behnaz Bagheri

Behnaz Bagheri is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Physics at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Her research focuses on multiscale modeling of electronic excitations in soft matter and plasma interactions with biological surfaces. She employs computational quantum chemistry, molecular dynamics, and fluid-type models, with applications in medicine, agriculture, and public health.

Bagheri has contributed to 15+ peer-reviewed articles (2016–2025), including studies on plasma dynamics, molecular interactions, and plasma-liquid interfaces. She actively organizes plasma-related conferences and teaches courses on Electrodynamics and Quantum Physics at TU/e.
