Wilfred F.L.M. Hoeben is an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Energy Systems department at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), specializing in the Pulsed Power group. He holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry (2000) and an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering (1990), both from TU/e. His research focuses on plasma chemistry applications for environmental remediation, including air pollution control and plasma synthesis of sustainable fuels. He has contributed to projects like 'Water, Air, Spray, Purification and Dispersion' and 'Plasma4Decontamination'.

Research Interests: Plasma-assisted oxidative degradation of pollutants, plasma synthesis of added-value chemicals, physical-chemical diagnostics (GC, MS, IR), and sustainable electrification of chemical processes. His work aligns with UN SDGs related to clean water, affordable energy, and sustainable industry.
