Becci Grant is a Lecturer in the Department of Allied Health within the School of Health and Wellbeing at the University of Worcester. She is a Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in supporting children with complex physical disabilities through clinical and educational interventions.
Her teaching and clinical interests include sensory processing, postural management, upper limb tone in cerebral palsy, assistive technology for communication, and multidisciplinary team collaboration. She integrates practical, hands-on approaches into her work and teaching, emphasizing functional engagement in daily activities.
Becci regularly delivers training and teaching on sensory diets and AAC within special school environments and has previously designed NHS-led training programs. Her work bridges clinical practice and academic instruction, focusing on inclusive strategies for children with physical and sensory needs.
She holds a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy and has progressed from an Associate Lecturer to a full member of the teaching team at the University of Worcester.
Becci actively contributes to professional development and knowledge-sharing in special education and pediatric therapy settings, working closely with school staff and healthcare professionals to enhance child-centered care and learning environments.
